Meet the Groomers
Kaitlyn F.
I’m Kaitlyn, I’m a certified dog groomer at Rubies & Ruff. I trained at Lake Norman Grooming Academy and have always liked learning hands on things, especially anything involving animals.
I’ve always enjoyed helping people, and I really like that grooming lets me do that while also taking care of dogs and making them feel better. I focus on clean, detailed grooms that fit each dog’s coat and lifestyle, and I try to keep everything as calm and stress free as possible for them.
Outside of work I like reading, traveling when I can, and bringing my own dog with me pretty much everywhere
I really enjoy getting to know both the dogs and their owners, and there’s nothing better than seeing the smile on both of their faces once they’re fresh, clean, and feeling their best. Excited to meet you and your pups!
Maddie B.
My name is Maddie and I have always been drawn to anything creative, from painting to design to making dogs look and feel their absolute best. I graduated from Newton-Conover High School and later earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Western Carolina, which really shaped my eye for detail and style. I bring that same creative energy into grooming, especially when working with my favorite breeds like poodles and other fluffy pups. That being said, I truly love all animals and getting to know each dog’s unique personality, it’s one of my favorite parts of what I do.
Outside of grooming, I love spending time with my significant other, my friends and my family, whether we’re just watching a movie, crafting, going for a hike or just hanging out. At the end of the day, I just want every dog I work with to feel safe, happy, and loved and to leave looking super cute too.
Lily S.
My name is Lily. I’m 20 years old, married, and part of the team here at Rubies & Ruff, where I work at the front desk and help with dog bathing services.
I enjoy spending time watching movies, cooking, crafting, and scrapbooking. I’m also actively involved in my church community, which is a very important part of my life.
In my free time, I love playing tennis and soccer, as well as enjoying board games with my husband and friends.
